Good Morning My Friends,
Being a published author isn’t all glitz and glamour. It’s a journey that includes facing both praise and criticism. The first negative review always stings, but over time, you learn to distinguish between constructive feedback and mere opinion.
While book reviews matter, the real stories I'm writing are those of Husband and Father. Those are the roles where the reviews truly count. And let's be honest, I haven't always nailed it. Particularly, this past year.
We've all experienced our share of feedback, whether it's a work performance review or personal reflection. These evaluations can be a catalyst for growth or a source of discouragement.
Remember, your family values your energy more than your accomplishments.
It's essential to listen to feedback, but it's equally important to trust your instincts. Some people are naturally in tune with their strengths and weaknesses. Others may need external perspectives to spark change.
No matter where you find yourself in this journey, remember that growth often comes from overcoming challenges.
That is it for this week, my friends!
~Mickey
P.S. If you'd like to read the negative reviews, feel free to head on over to GoodReads. Or if you'd like to help me out and hit that 5-star review, I'd love it!
