START YOUR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING NOW!
Not because the carriers aren’t capable.
They are (pro-tip: use UPS).
Here are three reasons you may or may not have thought of:
Thanksgiving is one week later this year. Thanksgiving week is often a trigger for people to start their shopping. The way it falls on the calendar, peak season is condensed, which reduces the margin of error carriers may have.
Weather. You never know what winter storm may cripple a certain region of the United States. This point is often overlooked; there are several segments of a supply chain. If there is a storm impact anywhere between the origins and destinations, packages can become delayed.
Procrastination = Stress. This season is best enjoyed when we are not as stressed. Why let the procrastination of shopping impact your stress levels? We can control the timing of this; get it done early!
