Good Morning My Friends!
It was another trip around the sun for me. Here are 43 random things I've learned in this life (in no particular order)!
Perspective is EVERYTHING. Our worst day is often someone's dream, don't forget that.
Teach your children financial discipline early in life.
Kids are God's greatest gift to the world. We need to do our part, lead them, and care for them.
Be a man of character so you can build your children into men and women of character.
Buy Local.
Never go to bed angry, you'll sleep awful.
If you're still able to see 'mom' or 'dad' on your phone consider yourself blessed.
Protect YOUR House.
Have a living will or revocable trust in place. It is often overlooked and forgotten about until it's too late.
Take care of your teeth and then keep smiling!
Memories and Experiences > Stuff
To be King, you need a Queen.
We will not live forever, but the stories always will.
Legacy is important. What is yours?
Growth mindset > Fixed mindset
You can't skip the blood, sweat, and tears and end up where you want to be.
Calamari is the best appetizer. Always.
Bald is my best hairstyle.
Iron sharpens Iron.
Surround yourself with people who make you better.
The Four Agreements is a must-read by everyone.
The 'firsts' after you lose a parent, suck.
Almost every form of exercise is more fun than running.
Our greatest lessons often don't come when it's convenient or we expect them.
If you're over 30, your friends don't want to help you move, hire a pro.
A son has two primary responsibilities in life: Love his mother and make his father proud.
Cadence and Health are important in many facets of life.
Doing the right thing is always the right thing.
There are no mistakes, only lessons.
What you make of life is up to you.
Mental hurdles are real. But they are often not as big as we make them out to be.
YOU are not alone!
Life is awesome and meaningful when we are self-aware and strong.
Win the morning to increase your chances of winning the day.
Tell a Farmer THANK YOU.
Normalize talking about Mental Health.
Exercise cures a lot of ails.
Treat others how you want to be treated, karma is real.
Comparison is the Thief of Joy.
Consistency compounds and delivers results.
A bucket list is fun to chase.
Things you truly enjoy doing will always find their way back to you.
My enneagram is 3. (Which explains a lot)
My Friends, I'm going to enjoy my day today and I hope you enjoy yours!
